Our Mission is to Promote Business and Community relations on the Georgetown Divide through Leadership, Teamwork and Economic Development.
The Georgetown Divide is located in beautiful El Dorado County between the Middle and South Forks of the American River, nestled in the heart of the Sierra Nevada Foothills and Northern California's Gold Country. Access is through Hwy 50 and Hwy 80, making it in close proximity to metropolitan cities and the recreational activities of Lake Tahoe.
The Georgetown Divide is made up of the following communities: Cool, Garden Valley, Georgetown, Greenwood, Kelsey, Mosquito, Pilot Hill and Quintett.
These communities are a haven for those who enjoy boating, camping, hiking, fishing, hunting and horseback riding, and they are well known for their fine wine grapes and specialty agriculture. Some events to watch for are The Founder's Day Celebration, The Christmas Parade of Lights and the annual Jeep Jamboree. Check our Calendar of Events for all the activities on the Divide.
